Mute all except certain contacts

Hello I was wondering if there is a way to mute all apps and contacts besides a select few or one. Preferably with an easy way to toggle. Like an "important contacts" list or something. For instance if one wanted to go to sleep and thus not be woken up unless it is by a certain person who may need to get a hold of them. Thank you for your time.

PS: If anyone also knows how to make widgets reach the sides in Nova Launcer, I have been wondering that also (turned all margins to none).

As for your Nova question, adjust the widget and expand it to the boarders. Long press the widget and edit size.

I just checked and you can't get an edge to edge widget. I even adjusted the grid size and nothing.

I am inclined to agree with magnus. All of my widgets have a tiny margin on the sides.

Thank you for the welcome. It is called "battery progress bar extended light" . There is also a dark version. It is a free UCCW skin you can get on google play. I was testing multiple to see if the issue was with a particular skin. However the margins etc happen with icons also.

Also thank you to everyone who has replied. @EvilMonkey, hmm maybe I will try uninstalling and clearing all data of it then re-installing. It is nice to know that it can actually work. It looks much better when the widgets do reach the sides rather than are surrounded by background.

I thought Llama was working however does the specific contact aspect not work on texts? As it seems even those set to loud contacts are not ringing.
