Mute All/Vibrate All option?

Is there a setting or a button on the phone that I can use to mute all sounds (notifications, calls,...) on the Thunderbolt and then easily turn back on? Vibrate would also be an option. My old phone had it, but I can't find it on the Thunderbolt.

Just run the outside volume button down to either silence or vibrate. Make sure you don't have "allow notification/alarm sounds even when silenced/vibrate" (or similar) enabled in the settings.

There are widgets that can do this, I use multicon which allows you to squeeze more apps into a single slot, and it has a sound toggle widget, but there are other widgets on the market as well.
