My 18month old daughter has managed to activate password lock, how do I do a factory reset?

my phone is Samsung Galaxy MiniGT-S5570, how do i get it to factory reset after my young daughter has activated password lock ?, help please !

Search the internet for "android device manager" and login to your gmail account that is used on your locked device. You can unlock it from there.
