My 300t only opens in safe mode, how can I get it to open regular?

My 300t only opens in safe mode.

For several weeks I have been having the Mute symbol spontaneously appear on the screen regardless of what app I am running. Now the tablet will only open in safe mode which keeps me from reaching the internet.
