My 4G/Data mysteriously stopped working, how can i get it working again?

4G/Data mysteriously stopped working

Owned my Note 4 for about a month now. Love it but yesterday I noticed that the 4G symbol has disappeared from the top of the screen. Thought maybe I was in a bad signal area but GF's iPhone had full 4G signal. I'm at work now & its definitely not reappearing any time at all. WIFI works fine so thats some saving grace.

I've tried removing the battery for 10 mins. Restarting. Switching from LTE/WCDMA/GSM to WCDMA/GSM restarting then switching LTE/WCDMA/GSM back on & restarting again. Switching data roaming on & off. Made sure "Auto sync data" was on. I'm running out of ideas. I also checked the internet/APN settings from my provider but thats made no difference.

Am I looking at having to do a full reset?

No but I don't expect they can help anymore than their website can (have confirmed all settings specifically for my SM-N910U model) and no one else I know using the same carrier (including my GF) is having a similar problem. Thanks

I was just thinking that they might consider a new SIM.

That was something I was thinking actually aswell. My SIM is at least 4 years old (carried over from my iPhone 4 I replaced). Thanks, I might try that aswell

They can either "reboot" your account/network settings or they will give you a new SIM. If one of those two options doesn't work, they will get you a new phone.
