My Android shows the Google now Laucher as an recent app.

When I open an app and then press the recent apps button, the google now launcher appears as an app. And if I close it or press the home button, the laucher is restarted. It is really annoying and slows the smartphone.
It began when I updated to Marshmallow.

I have a Moto g 4 plus.

Welcome to Android Central! I believe the Google Now Launcher is the stock launcher on the G4 Plus. So whenever you're on the homescreen, the Google Now Launcher is active. This is not what's causing slowdowns.
