My Android system on my Galaxy s5 is using up 30% of my battery. Any idea why?

Last night I went to sleep with my phone on 100% I woke up and it was on 24%. I liked at my battery usage and it said that 30% was being used by Android System and 25% was being used by com.android.systemui and 9% was being used by Android OS. Also my phone was really hot in the morning and it's hot now I am charging it.

Welcome to Android Central! Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Also, consider unmounting the SD card (in Settings>Storage) and removing it, in case a file on the card is corrupt--this can lead to battery drain due to the Media Scanner hanging up on that file.

Install CM security. There is a cleaner to clean trash, boost memory (clean) and most important 1 tap hibernate which will hibernate
apps running that drain your battery.
