My apps are uninstalling themselves!

All of the apps that did so seemed to be on my sd card. BUT not all of the apps on my sd card did uninstall themselves
It's not a simple moving the sd card either, all I did was turn on my phone (i never move the sd card) and there are loads of gaps from where the apps uninstalled themselves.
to make it even better, some of them are not letting me install them for some unknown reason.
This first happened randomly with duolingo, now it's happening with loads of apps, including photo editing apps, games. It's not just one developer or anything.
Anyone got any tips to stop this happening in the future?

Its quite possible that your SD card is bad, or needs reformatting. I would look into that, hope this helps!

Apps disappearing and general messing up!

SO I discovered the apps disappearing was my sd card going funky and worked out that i could sort it by taking it out and restarting every now and then.
I was running out of space so I decided to delete all my photos and videos, since they're all backed up anyway. After doing so, certain apps from my sd card were crashing and others were being weird with things not loading.
I'm considering moving what's important over to my internal storage and reformatting the sd card (i would replace it entirely, but i don't have an empty micro sd right now!)
Is this worth trying or is my sd card not worth saving?

I merged a couple of your threads.

If you tend to keep important data on the SD card, I would consider getting a new card (from a respected brand like SanDisk, from a bricks-and-mortar store), since the card you have might be defective or failing.

Thanks, I believe the one I have at the moment is sandisk as it's one I already had
I usually keep games and photo editing apps on there, as the important ones don't move but as I was already planning to get a couple of sd cards I'll buy a new one and somehow move all the stuff over there
