my battery won't fully charge. Says it will be like 3 days til fully charged.

I guess an older model. My former boss gave it to me for a gift several years ago. Internet does not connect anymore, so basically play games on it. was able to watch movies 6 months ago. But now it takes forever to charge. tried totally draining the battery, doesn't help. What now?
