I think heft is what makes a phone feel a little more sturdy. You want a good sturdy frame that will last. The GSII probably won't last as long as this Bionic, knowing Samsung vs. Motorola quality of the phone itself.

I will never argue a point; however, I agree! I have a 65 Sammy 1080dlp TV and another 23 TV/Monitor 1080 HD set. Motorola and HTC don't compare ROFLMAO!!!!!

My friend has a Captivate and HATES it. Mostly just because it's SOOO buggy. And the phone started falling apart like a month into him getting it. Sure it's not a GSII, but the GSII is a European phone. Stop comparing the European version to the Bionic, we'll never EVER get it. The US versions of the GSII aren't quite as good as the European version.

I too also have a Samsung TV. It's a 52', and I love it, but it's not quite as good as Sony, at least on the software side. There's no game mode, it's missing a bunch of features I'd like to have. But it works, and looks great, and I got it for 50% off! It's better than my personal TV in my room.

Lol I hate this phone too XD. But it will not break, I've thrown it across the room several times, it won't break. That's a good thing right? But the hardware and software is really limiting, I can't stand it. I need a Bionic to heal the wounds that LG has left me with the last two Chocolate phones I've had

Relax. Every relevant company makes great smartphones. I am partial to Moto but there's some ridiculous tech right now and only getting better. The Bionic does it all, though there are many other phones that have aspects that may trump what a Bionic can do. Also, your personal preferences are the truth. Is this the perfect smartphone? No. It's pretty close. Happily it will be outdated to the masses in a year.

And I'll still be happy that I can surf the internet on my phone at 4G speeds . I'll be happy in a year, I'll be happy in two. I'm a little partial to Motorola as well, but I love HTC phones, and Samsung phones are always really good spec wise. I just don't like the battery life on HTC, and mainly the software on Samsung's phones. I think my first phone was a Motorola too, and then came that awful RAZR lol.

Chocolates were never good lol. They were just the first basic phone to really feature music on it. And it looked like a chocolate brick, idk how they got away with that, they're not very good looking XD. And all the paint is scratched off on mine...and I take good care of my phones!

Different CPU man. The US one has an OMAP4 right? I know it's not the same as the European one. Everyone's talking up the damn CPU all the time...the US GSIIs will not score as high on benchmarks.

You think the form factor of the phone is relevant to performance. You believe that there is an unbiased comparison to be seen between a phone running at 480 and 540 resolutions. VZW isn't getting a SGSII. The NA SGSIIs don't even have the same internals as the Euro version, and likely won't perform as well. You keep referring to benchmarks scores even though real world performance seen in videos makes them out to be equivalent. I'm sure, if I looked, I could find more things to point out, but this is all coming right off the top of my head. Just stop.

Lol the only thing I liked was the light up spinning wheel on the front. It was all festive and crazy, but in the end was just useless lighting that was almost never used. It was way too slow for me too, even my current Chocolate is way too slow.
