My Bionic

Motorola EQ7

I have a question about the Battery Test Video. Do you live in a 4G area or 3G. For the battery to go that like it did in the Video some are saying that it was looking for a 4G single that is why the battery drained like it did. is this true?

Looks like the audio jack is very sturdy as well. Good call on whoever suggested that...I know on my PSP Go I had a kind of problem like that, the jack was really messed up and not very sturdy. And once again I like your taste in music. Led Zeppelin is the best lol. Although I was a little thrown off when I saw Justin Bieber in there :p. Why exactly in that video were you only getting 3G though, and only one bar?
And whoever suggest Love you to Death, I thought that was Judas Priest at first...guess there's two metal bands that have the same title for a song lol. The bluetooth pairing seems to be good too, wouldn't want any less. I know I'll probably be using bluetooth or my AUX cable in my car to play music off of my Bionic, come tuesday. And the USB port will let me charge it lol.
4g is very new where a I live and there is a tropical storm overhead. Generally pleased with the 4g coverage, ecstatic with the speed.

I know how it works, but none of the apps have copy protection built in to protect against this?

Its probably possible to not allow copy protected content to be mirrored, but as of right now there are no apps that have it built in to block mirroring. They might block some phones from accessing content, but if the phone can access it, then it can be mirrored.

Both actually. I was using the phone constantly for six hours. All while connected to wifi. The battery is fine.

I have to say, this is one of the most thorough pre-release/request threads of any product I've ever seen. Kudos and thanks to the OP for still taking multiple requests per day well after he has received the product. I really feel like I don't have to wait for tech reviews for this phone now.

The 4g radio appears to be and stay connected while on wifi, just like my last several 3g phones appeared to do.

On my OGD1, when wifi connects, the 3G icon goes away. When it goes out of wifi range or disconnects, there is another handoff to 3G. It sometimes takes a few seconds to transition. Sounds like your phone(s) respond differently. I wonder what effect that has on the battery.

It could possibly be one of those "non-critical" bugs that made it through the testing and will be resolved in a few weeks after the bionic gets its first post release OTA.

Correction. The bars would show up, but the 3g icon would diappear. You are right. Bionic is connected no matter what.

Ehhh you can always manually turn off the 4G or 3G radio anyways, there are widgets you can get to do it.

bworley50, I must say you are doing an amazing job fielding all of these questions. I wanted a Bionic back in Jan when I first started to hear about it, I have an original droid and have been waiting all this time, and then was started to get swayed away to a SGS2 or Vigor or Prime, but because of your post I am done waiting, Ia m done holding out for a possible next phone, this phone seems to be working exactly as advertised. So again, thank you.

Thanks. I lost the red zone channel when I switched to directv. Hopefully it will look decent on a bigger screen.
