things I want to know.

1. A list of the stupid bloatware.
2. How come it only says 8gigs of internal.... shouldn't it have been 16?
3. (you dont have to do this but to see how the phone will react) Can you install LauncherPro? Instead of the "Blur" UI I am thinking (using on my D1) of installing on the DB. load it up with widgets.... If you dont want to do this I understand....

No launcher pro. This Blur is non-intrusive and doesn't bother me. I have beautiful widgets as the clock.

Damn...that's some of the best quality video I've ever seen on a smartphone, were you manual focusing, or was that all autofocus? Because it seemed clear, focused, and the colors weren't washed out or too overpowering. I was expecting to see some garbage colors because it was missing white balance, but it actually looked great.
Take a nice walk and video some trees, flowers, nature, etc. Or just a neighborhood. I'd like to see how it runs outside.

There was some areas of choppiness. Maybe software? You can tell the lens quality is great, meets iPhone quality, but kinda choppy moving. Still looks really good.

Haven't posted this in a while.. but after these quick response videos and some answers i've received in other threads... here it is again:

I received this today compliments of Motorola. I wrote a letter to them complaining to them about some things. They responded, thanked me for my letter as they said it was well written, and offered some things to me, one of which was a Bionic at no charge. I will not comment any further about that. More to come. It did not come w/ a 4g sim card. Don't freak out. It was sent from Moto. Went to a VZ store, got a 4g sim card, called customer service, activated. People in the store couldn't believe it. This has been a great day so far. More details to come. I have two young sons at home who like to play with their dad.

Let this be a lesson to folks that deal with customer service in a belligerent and condescending tone. You catch more flies with honey than you do with...whatever the other thing is.

I haven't even looked at my private messages. You all have spent more time with my bionic than me. Ha ha. I do this because people enjoy it. Put your money on the LSU Tigers tomorrow. That's if we don't have any more players arrested

If you have time, can you do like 10-20 seconds of a left-to-right pan while shooting in 720HD and then do the exact same 10 second pan in 1080HD mode, and upload both to youtube? It's not a deal-breaker for getting the phone, but I still think recording in 720p is better for these phones but I want to see some empirical data.

You all missed my point. I don't care how thick it is. My point was how thin the GSII is and how it still has higher benchmarks.

No, we all get your point...you are here to simply sing the praises of GSII and how much better it is than the Bionic - we don't care. Please just buy your GSII when it comes out and leave the Bionic people to enjoy their new phone.

It's VGA. Which is all you really need in a FFC. The more MP, the more data being sent over your connection. You won't be looking at the picture anyway.

Then you don't belong here . Unless you just really want to see how awesome this phone is anyways. And you're never going to notice the camera, you're not looking at it. Unless you take pictures with it, but even then, you have a great camera on the back that works amazingly.

I haven't checked with anyone to see if this is the case... but I assume the only 'real' need for wanting a higher MP camera on the front of the phone would be for taking photos of yourself (or other drunk friends all leaning in...) so you could see the screen and make sure its in frame. Literally the only reason I can come up with for needing more than VGA.
