Try the altar of a church or a graveyard.
I have no accessoriesBworley50,
Apologize if this has been asked before. I use my OG Droid as an alarm clock on the docking station. Not bad for ambient lighting, however my SO uses the Droid X as an alarm clock and the thing is bright enough to read by (well almost). Have you tried it docked in a dark room to see how bright it is?
Thanks,
Lisa
Use your NE2 on Bionic. When nexus comes out, see if you can't live without. If you can't, sling Bionic on Ebay and buy nexus at retail. Start saving.Phone looks amazing, I'm def sold on this thing. Thanks so much for the videos man, wasn't sure if I wanted to wait for a review of it or what but this helped a lot.
I do have one question, or rather ask an opinion. I currently have a BB Storm 2 on VZW with Unlimited data, planning to move soon and was hoping to use 4G LTE on Bionic for my internet instead of Comcast. I haven't had an Android phone, but know countless people that do and I want one pretty badly, BB is horrible. The only good thing about BB is their e-mail integration which is phenomenal.
Would it be worth using my last NE2 on the Bionic, or wait for the rumored Nexus which is supposedly going to have Ice Cream Sandwich on it. From what I have read, ICS is going to have much better optimization and much better features than Gingerbread. Or is there any hope that the Bionic could at one point get updated with ICS.

I'd get the Bionic now. There's no telling how long it will take for the Nexus (which probably isn't going to be a Nexus anyway) to actually hit the market, but I seriously doubt it wil be before the end of this year. Besides, the Bionic will probably be one of the first pre-existing phones to get ICS. I'd even say it's conceivable that the Bionic will have ICS before the Nexus is being sold through Verizon.
Bworley, does the hdmi cable mirror everything? Netflix looked great. Also, can we see a video and or thoughts on the keyboard. Accuracy and speed are big. It's gonna be hard to give up iPhone keyboard.

If you buy it at Costco you get a 90 return policy...so you could return it within 3 months of purchasing it. I'd go for it, and if you can't live without a Nexus device, do what Bworley said and sell it on Ebay and get a Nexus. Bionic should be getting Ice Cream Sandwich sometime soon after it's released, probably sometime in late winter.

Now that Google owns Moto and the Bionic is Moto's flagship phone, I'd guess they are using it right now as a development/testing environment for ICS already.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I hear you on looking for wifi but I guess I'm being a little geeky about worrying about the security of that and more to your point "Probably won't do that much anymore" is the key here as you have unlimited. Because you have unlimited, any tests you get a chance to do on how much data was used would be appreciated. Maybe on this forum, I'm one of the very few with this issue of not having unlimited on Verizon (currently AT&T) as most everyone already would have likely had unlimitedNot having unlimited sure sucks though as it would require a lot more data watching especially at the super fast speeds so any info would be appreciated
thanks again

NE2 = New Every 2
It was a promotional offer that allowed old members who had a contract for 2+ years to receive any phone as an upgrade for free. They have since stopped this though once the iPhone came to Verizon.
