Good to see someone back from that dark side that is Apple inc.

I want to go back to Android but have yet to find an Android device whose camera can beat the iPhone 4 in both hardware and software combo. SGS II seems to be the phone that does it but it's not on Verizon (yet). I will have to get my hands on the Bionic to see how it stacks up in that department.

I am new to the pernile (sorry if I butchered the name), I have heard concerns of these screens with polarized sunglasses... Any problems seeing the screen with such?

The Bionic's camera looked pretty damn good. And it'll have a bigger resolution than the iPhone's anyways. I wouldn't worry too much about the camera as much as how much better everything else truly is on the Bionic.

inside, no flash 50% zoom

When is some manufacturer going to come out with a mini tripod for smartphones? With the continually advancing quality of smartphone cameras, surely there are people that use theirs as their primary image capture device.

I have made a plate that allows the use of the suction cup of the windshield mount to be used on a standard tripod with a 1/4-20 thread.... but it's "unprofessional".

It would be even more useful if the aperture/shutter were able to be set manually via a camera app.

Hmmm.... maybe I should submit something on kickstart and see what happens?

no. In fact the opposite is true.

You will have an issue with any smartphone in landscape mode while wearing polarized lenses.

So hard to see if in landscape but fine in vertical? My concern is using the gps while driving.

I know in every other category the Bionic OWNS the iPhone 4, but having an 11 month old, I always have my iPhone 4 right there so that's what I use for quick photos and video. In our living room (where we are all the time) we have almost no natural light and rely on some very bright overhead compact flourescent bulbs for lighting. Every cell camera generally sucks in that lighting but the iPhone 4 sucks less than every other, if that makes sense. I guess the only way I'll know is to have the Bionic in my hand. I just hate to try a phone out and pay a restocking fee to return it, like I did with the TB.

I agree the outside pics looked AMAZING. The indoor ones without flash however left a lot to be desired.

I don't know...in the end it's hard to really tell if one camera is better than another unless you stick them up right next to eachother.

I did ask before to try out Engadget's site...see how fast it loads. And I think pretty much all new Motorola phones comes with Swype now don't they?

Been waiting since it was announced...not sure however what to do since I have a bunch of BestBuy gift cards saved up that add up to about 150 for this phone but yet it will probably be cheaper ordering off of Verizon online with the NE2...

just use those cards for accessories if you can get it cheaper with VZW

iPhone 5 won't 4G LTE....and we all know that you like Android better anyways
