Hi, I'm using the moto z play on the 7.1.1 retapac October security update. Recently, my bluetooth headphones stopped playing media for me. I tried many different fixes:
Toggling media audio, contacts sharing and phone audio in bluetooth setting had no effect
Speakers and wired earphones work fine
Refreshing network settings failed
Restarting the phone works, but after turning off my headphones, the problem resumes
Factory reset had the same effect as restarting
The bluetooth headphones worked perfectly fine before the security update, and works fine on a relative's Apple device.
The BTMono app works, but media becomes very muffled as I have stereo system headphones.
Does anyone else have this problem, and how can I fix this without resetting my phone again, or is there a way to downgrade while keeping my data?
