Grrrrrrrrrr...I have that stupid Samsung cellular radio bug. I can't believe Sammy hasn't fixed that yet, it's why I rooted and custom rommed my SGS 1. I've searched through the forums and I didn't see anything on it... I'm on a Bell I747M
For those who aren't familiar its when the cellular radios suddenly stay awake and drain the battery. Only way to stop it is restart. It's different than the misread of cellular radio use because the algorithm is wrong. It's done it out of nowhere twice and its software related. I don't leave it plugged in all night, I always charge it unplug at 100 before heading to bed. When the delightful bug happens when I wake up my battery is at 2%, cellular radio awake time is 70% or higher (even with wifi on) and its rapid drained the battery in 9 hours.
I've ready rooted the phone when it did it the first time in case I decided to rom it to stop the issue if it repeated. Has anyone else had it happen? It's not hardware, it's a software glitch and its irritating.
Anyone who has had a sgs1 will know this issue well.
If you have had it, how have you resolved it? Should I rom it? Just restart it daily?
