My clock keeps disappearing?

When my signal drops to "emergency calls only" - my clock disappears?
Why is this and how do I fix?

I have tried a full system reboot and it still does it. If I go into settings>System ui tuner>status bar> 'time show hours and minutes default' is on... If I toggle it off and then back on it comes on - but then after a while it goes again by itself... It's really annoying

can it be it's "cleaned" automatically? do you have the clock "ticked" in settings: Background Task Clear? that might help, I had issues with alarm not going off, but after I ticked clock in the menu, the issue was solved.
