My contact information

Hey guys today is my first day with my new Moto x. The one problem I'm having right now is my own contact information isn't showing when I pull down my notification tray. Anyone know why?

You have to go into the people app and it should prompt you for info. This confused me too. You can't go through the dialer app.

So I have to redo it? It switched over on my nexus 4. No big deal was just wondering. Thanks for the response.

I had the same issue and found a setting in Google+ to sync contacts, keep contacts up to date. Once I did that my personal contact information populated immediately for me. Might try that out.
