After hearing about the cracks and stories of the glass breaking from small bumps or drops on this forum along with other forums and on reddit, I decided to protect my investment. I purchased the Unicorn Beetle Pro case by Supcase after hearing rave reviews for the case from the likes of 'FlossyCarter', etc. on youtube. I also needed a screen protector...any screen protector to protect my screen from scratches so I got the first thing I came across, and got the Zagg:p installed at my local Verizon. It's not all too bad like people make it out to be. Yes, S-Pen does leave an impression on the protector but I've noticed it lessens over time. And I can always replace a screen protector down the road, so no problem there. However, most cases didn't give me the grip I was looking for. I have butter fingers lol. So I improvised and got the GT-50 Grip tape off amazon. I cut it out and placed it strategically on the case. Now I have a rock solid case that's not bulky, protects my phone well, and has a awesome grip. Can't ask for much more. I was originally going to wait it out for the Otterbox Defender, but am more than happy with what I have now.

Here are some pics of my case/phone with the grip tape:

Wow. I could NEVER have a case that thick. Totally takes away from the form factor.

I have the blue coral and I am using the Spigen clear case. Thin and shows off the phone but protects against scratches.

The Amazon link reviews say that a few people use glass screen protectors with this case because the front face actually goes on from the front and it helps keep a screen protector in place.

That being the case, this looks like the perfect solution to keeping both front and back crack free.

Hmm. I might have to try this one. I have the commuter but it appears in pics the beetle pro may protect the left right side edges a bit more than the otter commuter. Anyone confirm?
