my daughter may have wrecked my phone please help

hey guys, my daughter got ahold of my phone while i was napping, and she may have wrecked my phone. the screen is on and i see things, but only the hard keys work. it makes a weird sound when i button is pushed, and theres just this weird blue bar that is slowly moving up and down the screen. anyone have any suggestions? it wont let me power down so i can reboot in to safe mode. i have no clue what to do.

Try holding down the power & volume down key for about 7 to 10 seconds

If you hadn't already tried it. power and volume down at the same time for about 7 Seconds should perform a hard reset.
