My device is not being recognized by my laptop

I'm using samsung galaxy tab 2 7 0 gt p3100 . and my laptop is running windows 10 x64 bit. before I had connected my tablet to my laptop and it was working fine. before my tab was running stock jellybean 4.1.2. Then I changed to 4.4.4 slimcat custom rom . The device was still being recognized , but suddenly one day it stopped being recognized. Now the tab is running cyanogen mod 12.1 lollipop 5.1.1 custom rom. Please help.

Sounds like you need to manually enable MTP mode on your device, or you need to reinstall Samsung drivers on your laptop.
