Android Central Question

I'm not installing anything else and this has gone on for a couple days now. Could you please help me?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, tap Storage, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager -- you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to see it. Now try again.

Download from different sources, no matter how large each, should start downloading when you tell them to. But downloads from play get queued - Play only sends you one file at a time.

The destination of a download shouldn't matter - although most things in Android - Play, web browsers - download to internal storage, even if you tell them to download to the SD card - the download gets downloaded to the /Downloads folder, then gets moved to the destination you picked.

So just to clarify -- you're unable to install any apps from the Play Store, and you can't download any files to Internal Storage, but you're able to download files to the SD card? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? Which phone do you have?
