I just purchased my Droid yesterday b4 I had to go to work....... Everything worked when I walked out of the
store......... I did charge it b4 I went to work....... maybe one hour - probably less..... the Associate at Verizon didn't
mention anything about charging it - but from previous purchases - I knew to charge the phone....... was able
to use the text..... got off work..... and couldn't get the phone to come on........ went home put it on the charger.....
overnight..... got up this morning (too early I might add - I work 2nd shift)..... and it will not come on.
Help I can't use my new phone....... What do I do?

please advise.

Have you tried to boot to recovery? You should be able to find instructions VIA google. Probably search the name of your phone and "boot recovery." It's generally holding down some combination of the power button and volume buttons.

If that doesn't work, what happens when you plug it in? Anything? Does the LED notification light light up?

If nothing is working, I'd say just bring it back to the store.
