My emails have stopped coming through automatically recently - help appreciated

Hi all,

For some reason, over the past few days, my S4 no longer automatically fetches emails and I have manually press the refresh icon to retrieve the emails.

I am using the stock Samsung Email app and have 4 email accounts added, of which 3 are gmail accounts.

I have not changed any settings and they are all configured to sync, with sync schedule of 'every 15 minutes'

Would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light and also let me know how to correct this.

In the notification window where you have toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc, make sure that Sync is selected. Is that the case?
 
I tried what you suggested but my emails are not coming through on the Samsung email application on any of my email accounts. The sync button that you suggested worked in the way that emails came through on the gmail app but not the samsung email app. Any ideas as to why it's not working in the email application itself and if it is a setting that May need to be changed? Any info is greatly appreciated!
