My Emails Not Deleting on Server from the Samsung Gear S2

Hi. I just got my new Samsung Gear S2. I set everything up and it is working beautifully, except for one minor issue. When I delete an email on my S2 it doesn't delete on my Samsung Galaxy 8+. And when I delete the email on my Samsung Galaxy 8+ is does not delete on the Gear S2. I have it set up as an IMAP email, so I'm not understanding why it is not working and I cannot find a setting to change it. Please help. Thanks.

I haven't used mine in a while, but it's it suppose to delete from the server if you delete on the S2? Or is that only deleting the notification on the S2, and not the actual email, as it would from your S8+ or computer?

Thanks for responding. No, I am in the email and deleting the actual email not the notification. But then I look at my phone and it is still there and vice versa. Wondering if it is a setting somewhere that I am missing.
