I always think I'm going to drop it when I'm using the camera. I miss having a wriststrap that is on my regular camera.

I was holding it through railing at a fence at the zoo the other day to take a picture thinking how much it would suck if I dropped it and the emu ate it.

Seriously. LMAO. I was riding on the outside of a cable car in San Francisco filming the ride with my phone. I was having similar thoughts with it clutched in my outstretched hand...all except for the emu eating it part.

I concur. The rock should be publicly executed for crimes against a defenseless smartphone. When you get the new EVO, post a video of you smashing that sucker with the heaviest sledge you can find. At the very least it should be banished forever from Backyardia.

A few people have broken screens. Has any one tried looking for replacement glass? I can't see it costing more then 50.00 or less. And on this phone it is easy to replace the outer glass.

Call the credit card company you used to buy it. Mine (AmEx and MAsterCard) both offer 90 days of accidental damage when using their card to buy a product. They also extend the warranty one year -- all for no charge and no deductible.

Gorilla glass breaks too. The iPhone 4 is going to have a ton of people angry. Especially when the back breaks. lol.

As one of the unlucky ones who broke his EVO earlier today, it takes a pretty good impact to take it out. Also, my EVO took a piece of road with it. Eat that asphalt!!!!

Seriously now, I was having the same thoughts when filming and taking pictures of my kids in a pool (I was in the pool too!). Not what I need right now with a big vacation coming up.
