My existing battery rating is different it is working fine or not ?

My existing battery rating is 3500mah 3.8Volts and my new battery is 3100mah 4.3Volt it is working fine or not ?

Which phone? Where did you get the new battery? Is it the same brand as the original?

3.8 Volts is the nominal voltage of a lithium battery, 4.3 Volts is the fully charged voltage. The difference is in the mAh rating, and 3100 will mean less time between charges than 3500. (It's only about 12%, but it's different.) As djrakowski asked, where did you get it? Is it an original battery or a cheap knockoff (that may not be even 3100 mAh)?
