My first Root and Rom

I root'ed and installed my first ROM with ClockworkMod 2.6.0.1 and Cyanogen 6.1.2 and of course Rom Manager. I have to say I was a little apprehensive at first. But so far so good. Cyanogen version does not have WiMax yet but I am sure it will in the near future.

I am looking forward to CM7, I am sure it will be sweet. I also downloaded and installed Vaelpak. That's a good ROM as well, nice and clean. However I wanted to go with the more solid Android look and feel with the Google goodness installed. I tried Fresh which was okay as well. Now I want to see if there is a Gingerbread MOD for the Evo that is stable or i'll just wait for Cyanogen.

Kudo's to all the guys out there that work on developing and tweaking these for us to enjoy. I tossed some coin your way so go buy some beer and pizza.

Several gingerbread roms based on CM7 code (not yet otherwise published) also there's a 6.1.2 version of CM w/WiMAX that was updated last night.
