I got the buds for 49.99 wouldn't give free but a screen protector for outer display was included at 10.00 didn't even select or noticed until now lol

Honestly I understand it, I was definitely feeling the FOMO this morning. But I don't feel Samsung have done anything to earn my money this year especially with the bad UK trade-ins.

No, I did come close. But the things that made me go back to a normal phone still haven't changed. And I've got way too many recent generation phones just sitting around not doing anything, maybe I should start giving them away lol.

If we have the same pre-order deals that you have in the US though, I definitely would have traded in.

Yeah the trade in did me in , at first it wasn't good maybe I forgot to add Government discount but when I rechecked everything it drop down to 550 well 689 plus the buds , screen protector and case

Do you feel the weight difference? Probably very small but it should be there as far as feeling it.

I couldn't really feel any difference as I have a speigen tough case on my S23 ultra which is fairly chunky.

I'm so tempted to trade in my Fold 4 for the 5 as with trade in and credit I can get the Fold 5 for 550.00 lol the Fold 4 is in mint condition.
I don't want to do it , damn it .

First impressions

The SIM card tray is a bloomer to load with 2 SIM cards. Very fiddly to get them to sit correctly.

The hinge on the Fold5 is a big improvement on the Fold4. Very smooth opening and closing with a positive feel to it.

Side-by-side it is very difficult to tell the Fold4, (on the left), from the Fold5. The only difference is the gap when closed on the Fold4 and the positioning of the flash next to the top camera on the Fold5.

I think that with the Fold5, Samsung have adopted a, "Softly, softly, catchee monkey", approach and rather than introducing killer features or styles, they have set about improving what they already had with the Fold4. Seemingly minor improvements such as changing the glue for the screens and altering the hinge mechanism, etc; all add up to fine tuning the Fold phone. Only time will tell.
