My Galaxy 4 won't let me load the Play Store app, how can I fix this?

mt galaxy 4 wont let me load the play stre app

Every time I try to open or update an app on the play store app, the app shuts down, it wont even let me open it, how can I fix it?

Is it the playstore that crashes? If so clear it data in phone settings. If this doesn't work uninstall updates and go back into playstore then it's settings and then hit build version to update. It updates in the background and you won't be notified. If this fails clear Google play services data and proceed with previous steps.
