My Galaxy S3 volume down button does not work and it is stuck?

my galaxy s3 volume down button does not work and it is stuck.

whenever i try to use the volume down button it is stuck and i don't get the clicking sound and feel like when i touch the volume up button. what do i do

Welcome to Android Central! Does it look like there's any debris or residue stuck in the crevice of the Volume button? If so, you could try a can of compressed air to blow it out, or swab it with some rubbing alcohol (if it's residue). Otherwise, unless you want to take the phone apart, bring it to a repair shop--a volume button repair probably doesn't cost too much.

Mine clicks but it doesnt respond. Do you kbow what to do? Hope you reply even though its an old thread

Hiya, I have the same problem as you i can hear the clicking but nothing happens have you solved yur problem yet? many thanks, Liam
