My galaxy watch screen is staying on all the time

[Android Central Question]

So, I've had my watch for just over a year. Wear it every day,charge it every other day. The screen has always either timed out or gone off if I cover it but since Tuesday its staying on all the time. If I cover it it will dull slightly but still remain 'awake'. I've switched it off etc. Any ideas?

Have you tried a different watchface? Some watchfaces don't 'look' like they are off in Ambient Mode (also, have you checked that the Always On feature, or Ambient Mode, isn't active?).
