My GPS is not working like ec22 since ec30! :)

The thing is, it actually WORKS now. My satellite jumps on in a second or two in Google Maps. The Google Navigation starts up real fast now as well. Did they really fix it? I am waiting for my phone to blow up, but all day i had ZERO problems with my GPS. I updated this morning to EL30, Hallelujah!!!!!!

I get 4 sattelites hooked up, which is better than zero. Also, I can turn my GPS on and off, instead of it being stuck on the on position. And then Making google maps freak and restart the phone.


Am I in fantasyland or is it really fixed? I am having a hard time dealing with reality.

I haven't had any issues with the GPS after updating to EL30 as well. So far so good. Crosses fingers!

Now I hope they don't break it again when the other update to fix Reject Messages is releasd!

Thought I was going to have a problem with my GPS after the update to EL30. It wouldnt link up to any satillites... Stood outside for 5 minutes and nothing. Did a battery pull, and tried it again and the GPS pickrd me up in seconds.. The fastest I have seen the phone work since I have owned it.

What's really great is they found the sweet spot. The previous rooted gps fix would lock on max amount of sattelites but would rape your battery that much faster because of it. The new updates locks on enough satts for a nice accurate location reading without using as much juice.
