I've had a GPS issue in the past where it took like 10 mins to lock. When i Rooted and added the MR2 radio my GPS was instant lock it was great. My first ROM was synergy. Then I tried BAMF 4.0 GPS still worked great. Now I switched to BAMF 4.9 my GPS can't get a lock. It just stays on searching for GPS. I don't get it. I thought I needed to new Official MR2 that just came out so I did that and it still doesn't work. I tried down loading that GPS lock to help and it doesn't work. The crazy thing is I down loaded map quest and that turn by turn works just find. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the ROM, could be the Radio... Since the radio is the quickest and easiest way to change things I'd do that... there is MR2, MR2.5, the official MR2, 1.39.00.0627r, and the Chingy radio there are a LOT of different radios to choose from.

in the past my Nav wouldn't work for me too.. BUT I can still use google maps and from there once I put my destination in it starts the turn by turn (just like NAV). then i will close the app and open Nav and it is good to go ... let me know if that helps...

basically google maps is the same as nav, but nav is quicker to use... again, let me know if this little trick works for you... if you don't have it, then down load google maps

Tried that it didn't work. What finally got my Nav to work though was when I used my extended battery cover so it might be a hardware problem not a software which is weird. Don't know why it only works with that.

The battery cover is part of the antenna
I have been using my extended batter forever and finally two days ago (long story) I cant now, so I switched back to my reg battery, and I am still good on GPS lock (i am using diff ROM though). I am just saying that It cant be your battery cover... plus if you take it off you can still make calls and use the phone ;)
