My GS4 and Micro SD help

So im planning to do the drag and drop method for most of my files regarding my micro sd...

i have a mac, so i figured itd be easy to plug in my card, get the files, then put it in the phone....


what format is best for the memory card?

ill have to look again, it had like 4 different fat modes....

SD cards under 32Gb in size use FAT32. Larger cards require ExFAT. The S4 recognizes both file systems.

Mac OS X Snow Leopard starting from 10.6.5, Mac OS X Lion and OS X Mountain Lion work with ExFAT. On the Windows side Windows Vista SP1 and later desktop operating systems include the exFAT file system. There is an Upgrade patch for Windows XP.

Im still wondering if what someone wrote on one of these threads about not being able to save apps to the SD card. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes, I read apps are on the internal memory only.

Gingerbread was the last version of Android where you could save/move apps to SD card.
