My headphones are connected but still play on my speakers

Just yesterday my headphones Stopped working on my Moto G2. They work fine on my android tablet and PC. I've also tried rebooting and cleaning the port. What should I do?

It's probably a bad headphone jack on the G2 - it will have to be replaced.

Might be problem with head phone you are using

It's hardware (and used to sell at Radio Shack for under a dollar) - it can break with use.
