I am confused I guess. What is the max speed verizon offers? I kinda thought 5 to 20mbps was the norm, then in bigger cities you'd get double that.

I don't even need that fast of a connection lol. When I'm tethering sometimes I turn 4G off since Netflix doesn't have a quality option. I rarely use hotspot but when I do I don't want to abuse it.

Verizon doesn't sell plans based on data speed, but on amount of data used.

With regards to the maximum, the highest I have read about is 100mbps. Theoretically, the 4GLTE side can hit 150mbps where 20x20mhz aws is deployed, but Verizon is limited by the backhaul
