my htc 10 can't mount storage

[Android Central Question]

was about to install a new viper rom from TWRP and when completed it was not booting. so i restored my back up and now i'm getting a fail "failed to mount data(no such process". installed a the original viper rom and now its showing decryption unsuccessful after the phone boots
