my htc m8 is npt charging properly

my htc one m8 is not charging
last night i was using my phone and its battery were drained fully and phone shuts off.
then i plugged my charger and it shows battery indicator and flashes icon then the whole screen disapears then it again shows its icon .
sometimes battery level reaches 1 or 2 percentage but then it agin starts from beginning and whole process repeats again and there is no chaging
i m using original charger n tried multiple cables charger but no luck any help

If the other cables you tried are known to be good, then I'd suspect the ism port on the phone is bad. After having happened twice to mine and seeing several others with the same issue on here, I'm thinking it's just a weak design.
