my HTC m8 time is finally over!

well, after quite a few months of lag, bad battery ( completely shutting down at 17-20% ) and other problems with my M8 , im moving on......
not getting a "new" device, im going to try out the Motorola Droid Turbo ( not the new 2) . Verizon had it on cyber Monday deal for 50% off ($265)
with its huge battery 3900 mah, compared to the 2600mah on the m8, that alone will be big! the 3 gb ram and faster processor will be better too. 21 mp camera.... etc, I also got thr 64 gb version ballistic nylon version.

anyone have a turbo ? thoughts?

How long have you had the m8 for. And did you do a factory reset when you were having problems.

had since march 2014, yes a few resets. was great before lollipop. just got my Motorola droid turbo yesterday, getting it all set up today, so far so good ! ZERO lag, and fast as hell !

Damn, I think you and I had gotten ours around the same time. It was an awesome phone but I've been thru two different phones since then. Note 4 and now currently the turbo 2. The wife is using the m8 and is still running smooth. I'm really enjoying the turbo 2 but if I were to get another phone tomorrow it would probably be an htc. Had a great experience with the m8. I would've gotten a m9 instead of the turbo 2 but wireless charging is a necessity for me from here on out. BTW your turbo is wireless charging. You should check it out. Aliexpress has some cheap wireless pads that work great.

Sorry to see you go. My M8 is telling me I have 3 new software updates from HTC. Will check them out.

NOOOOOO! Don't do it (yet). I installed them and since then, my FB will not open. Also Spotify and Timehop (the only two I know of so far) open fine but close after 10-15 seconds of use. I am on this board to figure out a solution or see if anyone else is having the same issues.
