My HTC ONE M7 wont connect to wifi

I restarted my router and restored my phone to factory settings and it still wont connect to my home wifi. It will connect at work and everywhere else but home. Every time i try to connect it tells me "Failed to connect to WiFi please check your network connection" or whatever. and when i click on our home WiFi name it says the signal strength is Excellent....does anyone have any suggestions?
