Hi all. Fellow Android user here.

Decided to hunt out an Android community as I want to get more involved with my Android use with the recent reveal of Android 5.0 "Lollipop". Was looking for something a little more consumer-oriented compared to XDA, which is a developer's hub. Originally got my start with Android on the HTC Droid Incredible some years ago (2010, I think). My second phone turned out to be an iPhone 5 but I received a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 as a late Christmas gift this year, which is something I've been longing for in order to get my foot back into the Android market and reclaim my Droid apps.

I also actually want to break into Android development too as a coding hobby so there's that as well.

Welcome to the forums. Are you looking at getting an Android phone as well, or just keeping the tablet and iPhone?

Not sure. My contract expires next month but as far as the phone goes I've been wanting to stay on the iOS platform in some capacity but as far as getting a new iDevice I want to wait to see what is announced next year (which I expect to be the iPhone 6S). If I went with an Android phone it would probably be a Galaxy Note Edge.

You might be surprised at how many users here are dual users.
