My internal storage is always full for no reason

My internal storage is always full, while I don't have many apps and I don't have many things stored there, it says the system is occupying 18 GB and the apps are occupying 30 GBs! The apps I downloaded are not even near that number they are 11 GBs max. I don't know what's really occupying the storage and that's frustrating. My phone is realme 3 pro running on Android 10

Welcome to the forums. Do you use any messaging app like WhatsApp, Telegram, KiK ...? Usually these apps can take a lot of storage after accumulating media files that were sent to you. Most of these apps have an option in their own settings to see how much storage is being taken.

Thank you for replying. Yes I have them but I clean their caches and move all the media and backups to the SD card regularly. The rest of the storage are like vanished 30 GBs I can't see what's occupying them and I am sure I didn't download anything that big.

Thank you for replying. Tried it and it says most of my storage are occupied by apps, but the app isn't naming them so I don't know which app is taking all this storage.

when I extended the view most of the apps are small and their sum can't be 30 GB

App data can occupy a large amount of space even if the app itself is small.

The folder "Android" which has the data is 10 GBs, is there any hidden data or a way to view them?
