My LG-G4 Keeps deleting ringtones I add on it's own.

I heard that in LG-G4 there is an option to add my own songs as ringtones instead of the boring default ringtones . After I discovered that amazing thing i didn't know existed I hurried to download a song and try the feature and it worked . About after a week or two every I received a call but it was with the default LG ringtone instead of my custom one . I checked the ringtone libary and it wasn't there at all and not only that , I realized the whole MP3 file was gone from my device !

What is causing this? Maybe copyright?
And how do I fix this

Are you saving the files onto SD Card? Maybe it is damaged or the file is becoming corrupted?

User-created ringtones should be in the "/Ringtones" folder on the internal storage or the SD card.
The internal storage is a bit more reliable.

Where did you get the music file from?
Where was it stored?
