My LG G5 doesn't update to 7.0

Hey guys. Im having an issue. Its 01.02.2017 and Im still not getting the android 7.0 nougat update. Im using a LG G5 and as far as i know this model is given the update 2 months ago. Even my friend got it on his lg g5. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! Which carrier are you on, and was the phone intended for a different carrier? This is important because carrier-specific phones typically have to be on that same carrier to get the official system update OTA.

I have the same issue. I have an unlocked LG G5 (RS988) that I use with Verizon. I contacted LG to find out who is responsible for pushing the update and was told "Android or Google." I am very confused.

I believe it would be LG that pushes the update, not Google. What's the exact model number? I can't find an LG RS6899 mentioned on the web.

See if LG Bridge allows you to manually update. If so, and if it doesn't detect an update, then it might not be available yet on your variant. LG BRIDGE - COPY FILES, AND BACKUP YOUR DEVICE

I'm having the same issue and I have a AT&T lg g5. It is July and I should've already have gotten the update
