My LG G5 has frozen, how can I do a hard reset?

For two days my LG G5 has been frozen on my home screen, I have done a soft reset but it just stays the same. How do I do a hard reset?

If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys. To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

Back up all data on the internal memory.
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons on the back of the device.
When the LG logo appears, quickly release and then re-hold the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume down button.
'Factory data reset' appears.
Use the Volume down button to highlight Yes.
Press the Power button to confirm.
Erase all user data and restore default settings' appears.
Use the Volume down button to highlight Yes.
Press the Power button to reset the device.

Odd that you are needing to do hard resets on your S7 and G5 at the same time. Do you own both?
