I recently replaced my screen, the phone was unused for like one month and when It was fixed the battery wouldn't pass 40%, tried with a brand new one I purchased with the new screen and that one doesn't pass 50%, the LG would then work normally only to turn off by itself with no warning and when trying to turn it on it says the battery is at 0%. Any help?

Welcome to Android Central! Who did the screen replacement -- you, or a qualified technician? If the latter, bring the phone back to them and ask what went wrong.

The batteries are not the problem. the new and old one were pecfectly functional before the screen instalation, I didn't gave the old one to the person who made the replacement and when trying it in the phone again is stuck at 40%. Surprisingly the new battery has been lasting since yesterday and the phone haven't turn off by itself yet. Not sure why the battery percentage is stuck but if it's still that way my phone will continuously turn off out of nowhere without warning, wich is a problem because I use it for work and the blackouts make me loose progress.

Have you already tried booting into Safe Mode, or a factory reset?

I also wonder if some battery sensor circuitry was disrupted during the screen replacement.

If your cousin repairs phones, ask him to please repair the damage he caused to yours. It could be nothing more than a loose or unconnected wire, or it could be a damaged charger (part of the electronics in the phone - the thing you plug into the wall is just a power supply).
