As of yesterday My Location Google Maps (beta) is not working at all. My GPS when turned on locks right on but the My Location uses the towers for a rough location. When you go into maps without GPS or WIFI turned on you still get the blue arrow blinking, it's usually about one block from my house. As of yesterday it isn't working, put my sim card in my Nexus One and same problem. What is the answer????
Thanks

Just curious, which version of Android is your Nexus running?

The Sensation is running on Gingerbread. Not only is the Sensation's My Location not finding my phone but when I put the Sim card in my Nexus One I'm having the same problem. I have my Nexus One running 2.2, rooted. Just noticed this problem the other day. I drove out of town about 3 miles and another tower picked up my phone on My Location so it would seem that it must be the local towers having problems. I hope. It must be because I just tried my sim card in 3 different phones and all three having the same issue. Any input would be welcomed.

Just received some imfo from T-Mobile tech dept. I was just told today they changed some of their antennas and that part of the antenna that supports My Location for using triangulation to locate me is not on my local tower. This was just changed in the past week or so because my DL speeds have increased to a top peek speeds of about 6mb down to the new peek speeds to 12.5 mb down that I am getting now. Getting about on average 7.5 to 8.5 during the day during peek hours. My upload speeds have jumped as well from 1.5 to 1.8 mb. I am thrilled with the speeds increase but how much more money could it cost to add the My Location to the tower. My GPS works fantastic but I liked the My Location as well. T-Mobile said it was a budget issue and would work on getting it fixed when the budget would allow it. I do not think My Location is going to ever make it back on their top work order. If the AT&T buy out does go thru that will be the last thing on their minds. Just very happy I am getting fantastic speeds and service from what I think is the countries best Network.

Anyone have an idea of how well (or poorly) the my location feature works on the AT&T/HTC Inspire?
