Why would you use that when you have both Samsung's service and Android Device Manager in Google Play?

I don't use any of those. I use Where's My Droid so I can pick a custom ring tone to turn it on if I've misplaced it at home. Where's My Droid does so much more and I don't remember how much I paid for it, but it wasn't much.

WMD also will turn on the custom ring tone at the highest volume for 10 minutes, when your phone is on silent. It will also take pictures if someone has your phone.

I just registered my phone with Samsung and Google Device Manager.

WMD does much more than either of those two things.
