My Moto G doesnt switch to 3G automatically

Hi,
I am very pleased with all the features of MotoG except the internet connectivity. Internet works great in my mobile both with WIFI and without. However when I am roaming between the WIFI and non WIFI zones I have the real problem. When I go out of WIFI zone, it doesn't pick the 3G signal. If I restart the phone or turn off and on the signal (ex: goto flight mode and come back or explicitly turnoff and on the signal of particular network) it picks the 3G network again.

Go to settings - WiFi - overflow menu - advanced and make sure that these two options are switched off. Scanning always available and network notifications. See if that helps.
